"Statum and Time" is the first collection of three long-form improvised instrumental tracks made exclusively for the #xanimakes subscription project.

On the fourth day of each month, Xani drops a new long-form track crafted especially for subscribers. These tracks are woven together live in studio, born out of improvisations and completely instrumental.

The #xanimakes project has become a way for Xani to deep dive into her roots as a violinist. Xani's early work with The Twoks was predominantly instrumental and involved the creation of long, epic, cinematic soundscapes you could lose your thoughts to over time.

Xani has recreated and reimagined this early approach to violin music by incorporating her array of electronic effects and live looping. The music is a reflection on her childhood holidays along the Great Ocean Road listening to Martin Hayes (Irish violinist) in the car.

This collection includes three new tracks:
I. Engines
II. Limestone (dropping May 4th)
III. Deep Sea Creatures (dropping June 4th)

This collection goes very nicely with a cup of herbal tea or a warming glass of tempranillo.
