#xanimakes Version 2023 kicks off this month despite a smattering of new music headed your way.

bare 3.0 is part of a series of electronically FX'd-stripped back long form instrumentals, improvised in my home studio.

This is the final improvisation from my home studio for 2023 as I have just moved into a new external space from which to work creatively. This feels like a huge move for me. After three years of intense creative work from my home (while isolated and in lock downs), I felt nostalgic and sentimental towards my humble bedroom-turned-studio. It was bittersweet moving out.

But as I write this, I am in my new space. It is about 3x3, with bright light pouring in through big windows. It is full of green and coral bits and bobs and it feels very "me".

The artwork for bare 3.0 depicts this new studio space as I look towards the future.

I hope you enjoy this finale in a series of works.

Next month I will release my sophomore full-length album - nine tracks of EDM-inspired music that will release both digitally and on vinyl. Subscribers will receive this entire digital album so I will take a one month hiatus from these long-form offerings to focus on sharing my new album.

But from April onwards, new space, new sounds.
