Sketches Vol. 1 is an EP that was created in one month as part of the Sketches Challenge.

Throughout the month of November, Xani streamed live to Twitch each Sunday improvising different songs based on different themes. The listeners were invited to contribute moods, lyrics and musical instructions which shaped the improvisations.

At the end of each stream, the listeners would vote on which track was their favourite and Xani would refine, perform, record, mix and master the selected track.

The result was this EP of four songs created through audience interaction via the Twitch chat functions.

"Cola" was the first track created in Week 1 inspired by the themes of dance music and summer time. Listeners contributed lyrics such as "summer", "bees", "hammock", "lush" and "cola".
